Week 13 NFL Betting Lines

Week 13 NFL Betting Predictions

Tennessee Titans vs Cleveland Browns

Despite the usual fanfare associated with Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland have gone under the radar this term. In the shadow of the unstoppable Steelers, the Browns sit 8-3, second in the division. They are middle of the pack in offense and defense – it’s been an unspectacular season.

Cleveland have been the beneficiaries of a favorable schedule. Their eight wins have come in games they were expected to win, and their offense has stalled when facing stronger opponents.

The 8-3 Titans fall into that bracket. They are one of the best offenses in the league – Ryan Tannehill has looked after the ball well (four interceptions all season) and defenses have had no answer for Derrick Henry.

The Browns are one of the better run defenses in the NFL – their 4.1 yards per rush is good for 10th in the league. Does that mean they halt the seemingly unstoppable Henry? Probably not, but it gives them some hope.

These are two solid teams. Their 8-3 records flatter them slightly, however. Cleveland are understandably the 5.5-point dogs for this one. It’s going to be a game dominated by the run, a game that will be tense rather than entertaining.

Pick: Under 54 total points. That’s a very generous line – Cleveland have had a lot of low-scoring games this season.

Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Rams

The Cardinals (6-5) clash with the 7-4 Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. This is the first of two remaining matchups between the NFC West rivals, who are pursuing the 7-3 Seahawks. This division is poised to be the most exciting in the NFL as the regular season draws to a close.

Los Angeles is three-point favorites over Arizona. Following statement wins over Seattle and Tampa Bay in the weeks prior, the Rams suffered a frustrating loss to the Niners last Sunday. It was a setback for Sean McVay’s team, but the league’s best defense will be confident against a Cards who have lost three of their last four.

This could be a big game for LA’s Darrell Henderson. Henderson averages 10.9 rushes per game and has 510 rushing yards on the season. Arizona has been an elite pass defense – giving up 6.8 yards per pass, good for fifth-best in the league. Their run defense has been much less effective.

McVay’s reliance on play action can keep defenses off balance. That will be particularly important against the Cardinals. As Arizona are wary of the pass, Henderson could be a threat as a rusher and a receiver.

Pick: Los Angeles Rams -3. Bet the Cardinals’ poor run to continue as the Rams keep pace with Seattle.

NFL Week 14

The Week 14 NFL betting schedule is stacked. The Rams and Patriots get us underway on Thursday Night Football before the playoff chasing Dolphins meet the reigning champion Chiefs on Sunday. Tom Brady’s Bucs meet the Vikings at the same time in what is set to be one of the best Redzones of the season.

The Raiders and Colts kick off a couple of hours later in a game with major wildcard implications in the AFC. Sunday Night Football hosts a showdown between the Bills and Steelers.

Week 14 is wrapped up with a mammoth AFC North matchup between the Browns and Ravens. It’s a must-win for Baltimore, who will hope to have the majority of their roster available after a string of positive COVID-19 tests.
